The Meaning Of The Word Of God

“It is the spirit that gives life, the flesh is of no avail; the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life.” John 6:63

Apostle Matthew: What is the word of God?

The Head: The word of God is every word that is spoken by God or any teaching and revelation from God, whether written or not written.

Apostle Matthew: That is the physical meaning of the word of God.

What is the spiritual meaning of the word of God?

The Head: The word of God is God.

Apostle Matthew: Yourself, Chukwudi?

Chukwudi: The word of God. The word of God is life.

Apostle Matthew: Son of man, yourselves answered correctly.

That is number 1.

Number 2: The spiritual meaning of the word of God is the FirstSon, Jesus Christ.

If the Angels ask you, who is the word of God, what shall you answer them?

The Head: The word of God is the FirstSon of God, Jesus Christ. The word of God is God.

The Word Is Life And Almighty

After this many of his disciples drew back and no longer went about with him. Jesus said to the twelve, “Do you also wish to go away?” Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life; 69 and we have believed, and have come to know, that you are the Holy One of God.” Jesus answered them, “Did I not choose you, the twelve, and one of you is a devil?” He spoke of Judas the son of Simon Iscariot, for he, one of the twelve, was to betray him. John 6:66-71

Apostle Matthew: What did Jesus tell the gathering?

The Head: He said that He will give them His flesh to eat. And He was making them to understand the meaning of His flesh – that His flesh is the word which He was speaking to them, which word is life and spirit. But they could not understand what Jesus was telling them, because that was the first time they were hearing such things and because they have not had spiritual experiences.

Apostle Matthew: Another thing Jesus was explaining to them was that Himself is Almighty.

The Head: Yes. He is the Almighty.

Apostle Matthew: Son of man, another thing it is explaining is that what Jesus says is what He does, whether it pleases man or not. If you like, believe it or not, but the word remains steadfast.

Disciples And Followers

“But there are some of you that do not believe.” For Jesus knew from the first who those were that did not believe, and who it was that would betray Him. 65 And He said, “This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless it is granted him by the Father.” John 6:64,65

Apostle Matthew: This is not where this statement should be

The Head: This is not true.

Apostle Matthew: The statement was false, because not all the gathering were disciples of Jesus. They were following Jesus, but Jesus had not yet made them His disciples.

Son of man, if somebody comes here as a new person, and joins in rendering services, does that make him a minister of God?

The Head: No.

Apostle Matthew: It is anointing that shall be performed on him, to show that he is an approved minister of God?

The Head: Yes.

Apostle Matthew: Son of man, all the multitudes were not disciples. Jesus had not yet approved them as His disciples. They were people who were drawn close to Jesus, by the words of Jesus. Ourselves, The Twelve Apostles, were not among the disciples. Our wisdom was greater. We did not speak, we did not murmur.

If we had murmured, if we had complained…

Our hearts were strong, firm, in our believe, though we could not understand some of the words of Jesus. All those people that left, they were not disciples. They were followers. The only thing was that they made ourselves a multitude.

Very Important Points

1.     The FirstSon of God is God, just as a lamb does not have to become a sheep, because it is already a sheep.

2.     God is spirit, God is fire, and it is easy for fire to multiply itself into several fires. The same is true of light.

3.     In spirit, everything behaves according to its nature, and this very fact it cannot hide.

4.     Jesus is Lord Almighty, because He is the fullness of God. The FirstSon simply means complete and original.
